The X11 PLUS electric scooter builds on the tradition of this brand’s models – to provide unique practical features and modern daily riding experience around the city. It expands upon the X8, with the manufacturer adding multiple improvements making the X11 PLUS even better, improving its quality and making it more practical. It will delight you with its 1000 W of power, a range of 50 km and a top speed of 35 km/h. In terms of price, the X11 PLUS model is comparable to Xiaomi scooters. However, it offers better technical specs, superior build quality and incomparably more comfortable rides than the competing models.

Power, range and safety

The scooter is driven by a motor installed directly in the rear wheel’s hub, delivering a maximum power of 1000W, which is more than enough for normal riding around a larger city. This kind of performance is reflected in the top speed which, in ideal conditions on a flat surface, allows you to ride at 35 km/h after pressing the thumb lever fully. The swappable 36V battery is no slouch either, thanks to its 13 Ah capacity corresponding to 468 Wh of stored energy, being capable of providing a range of about 50 km per charge. We should not forget that this range depends on circumstances that include road condition, inclination, rider’s weight, and his/her riding style, among others. That is why we would rather rely on trips not exceeding 25 kilometres. The battery is removable, attached directly to the steering rod, which means that when it runs empty, you can either charge it in a few hours or swap it with a fully charged one. With this model, you do not have to worry about wet roads or light rain as the scooter is resistant to splashing water. Reliable brakes and proper lights go hand in hand with safety. When it comes to the HX X11 model, it features a dual braking system with a disc brake at the rear and a front E-ABS brake. The road in front of you is clearly visible thanks to the scooter’s lighting system. At the same time, the scooter makes you properly visible to other road users. It comes with larger 10-inch tubeless wheels, which is why we recommend avoiding large potholes to prevent getting a puncture. At first, the air-filled wheels might seem this scooter’s weakness. On the contrary, they represent an efficient and reliable solution complemented by front suspension contributing to riding comfort. 

Body, equipment and practicality

The urban nature of the X11 PLUS model is further emphasized by its simple, yet sufficiently strong and monolithic body made of aluminium-magnesium alloy. The scooter offers internal routing of cables, complete IPX4 water resistance and 10x2.7-inch tubeless tires. As a rider, you will appreciate larger than average deck surface in this category with a width of 17.5 cm – an improvement by more than 3 cm over its predecessor, the X8. The entire deck surface is rubberized and its usable area continues through the raised neck of the deck towards the folding joint. The folding joint uses one quick coupler and the folded steering rod snaps right to the rear fender, which only takes 3 seconds. The cockpit is simple and functional, featuring 53-cm wide handlebars. They are dominated in the middle by the built-in LCD panel displaying basic riding data, battery capacity, as well as the option to switch between three riding modes. Finally, the practical urban package offers compact dimensions of 111 x 53.5 x 53 cm (length, height, width) when folded, which means you can fit it under the bed or into a car trunk without problems. When unfolded, the scooter height reaches 123 cm. It can sustain a load of 150kg, which is a respectable result given its weight of 19kg.
